At a memorial for the victims on the 70th anniversary of the Jeju April 3 incident last year, President Moon Jae-in said, "The government will do its utmost to heal the wounds and pains of the surviving victims and the bereaved families and actively cooperate with the National Assembly on necessary legislation."
