Millennium Seoul Hilton’s General Manager, Eric Swanson, announced the new appointment of Tom Wang as the hotel’s new Director of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Wang hails from Singapore, and has over two decades of experience working in the hotel industry. Initially working in public relations and property management, Mr. Wang eventually moved into business development and sales. He has been a part of global hotel brands in Singapore and China, including The Ritz-Carlton, The Peninsula, The St. Regis, Shangri-La, Swissotel, and Gloria Plaza. Most recently, he had worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Singapore’s Hotel Jen Tanglin by Shangri-La.

Mr. Wang said of his new appointment, “I am thrilled to be working in South Korea, one of the most integral and important locations in the Asia-Pacific region. I plan to harness all the skills and knowledge I’ve gathered from working in Singapore and Shanghai to benefit and grow the market for Millennium Seoul Hilton. I’ve worked closely with the Korean business community in Singapore, and will do my best to improve and increase business opportunities that will benefit and raise the status of Millennium Seoul Hilton and its operations.”

Fluent in English and Chinese, Mr. Wang has extensive experience in all hotel operations, particularly in driving revenue and market share growth in corporate, travel trade, MICE, consortia, OTA and governments segment with the support of teams with support of sales, catering & conference services, marketing communications, revenue management reservations.
